About This

• This kit contains all the wood and tools you need to make 3 large wooden orchid baskets which are 12 inches wide by 12 inches wide. Included in the kit: wood pieces, wire pieces, wire basket hangers, mini pliers, mesh liners, cotton gloves. One basket can be put together in about 15-20 minutes. The kit includes assembly instructions and a link to a video showing how to put the baskets together
• The wood pieces in the kit are made from teak wood - a hard waring wood which is suitable for even harsh tropical climates. The wood pieces are cut from the leftover off-cuts from teak wood furniture making. Some of the edges will have splinters so use the gloves included in the kit to protect your hands
• The wooden hanging planters have gaps between the wooden slats which allows for really good airflow which is important for successfully growing orchids, ferns and many other plants. Use the mesh liners if you want to line the baskets and the 34 inches long wire hangers to hang them up
• Can be displayed indoors or outdoors, hanging or standing. A set of these baskets filled with your favourite orchids looks really good hanging under a terrace or standing together on a table
• Suitable for many types of orchids. To secure small orchids in these baskets first insert the mesh in the bottom of the basket. Then add a well-draining potting mix like bark chips or coconut husk chips. For orchids with large roots insert the roots through the gaps between the wooden slats
